Weekend reading

Hey folks, it's the weekend!

But what happened to that Indian Summer we were promised by the weather people??  Yes, I didn't make it up, the weather forecast for this weekend in the UK was temperatures of 22 degrees and sunny.  We even talked of a day a the seaside for Sunday.  This is weather permitting and due for review in the morning.

I put the heating back on last night!

What are ur plans/reading plans for the weekend?

I have 3 books on the go at the moment which is a record for me. I only usually have one main book and one I have maybe started but the main book just jumped the queue.

On the real back burner, on my bedside is The P***ed off Parents Club, a fun read I can pick up anytime,

Footsteps - Katharine MacMohan is still half finished. I am really enjoying it which is why I want to take my time with it.......

but after finding.....

The Opposite of Falling by Jennie Rooney reviewed on another blog I just had to have it. I have borrowed it from the library, hence it is my main read, but even if I wasn't on a timescale to read this one it would still have jumped the queue. I am totally into this book at the moment and loving the victorian era with the new excitement of early flight and travel with Mr Thomas Cook himself.

I would recommend this book and will review as soon as.

Enjoy ur weekend, folks!

  3. Have fun reading!

I have not had the heart to put on the serious heat (pellet stove) but I have turned on the electric heat in the bedroom at night. Personally... I love it!!!

  4. Kate,
Our heating is off and on and off again. We have had a very warm day here today for October.
The sun was out most of the day and even needed my sunglasses today.
