This Week
I plan to put a dent in my TBR shelves. I need more space for more delicious reads.
Miss Julia Speaks her Mind by Ann B Ross is my next read.
I get some of my books from overseas. Hooray for the internet!
What does your reading week look like?

Good luck with putting a dent in your TBR shelf. I keep trying but never manage to get any where! Thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great reading week, Carol!
ReplyDeleteHi Kylie,

Hi Julie
You too. Happy reading
carol
I keep wanting to get through my TBR pile as well, but it's just huge. Good luck with that!
ReplyDeleteHere's what I'm reading this week.
I need to join you with putting a dent in the bookshelves- just keep getting new books from the libary.
ReplyDeleteHI Majanka
ReplyDeleteToo many good looking new books catch my eye!
Hi Kim
Another reason for the overstuffed TBR shelves here.
carol
Ah, I've been working on "denting" my TBR stacks, too...unfortunately, when I keep adding books, the stacks grow. But I've distinguished between OLD stacks and NEW by where they're stacked...LOL
ReplyDeleteThe Scarlet Kimono looks lovely...
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Good luck putting a dent in your TBR piles. Every time I try that More Seem to Come. Anyhow enjoy!

I keep trying to put a dent in tbr piles. I seem to accumulate books faster than I can read them. I have heard the Miss Julia books are good. I have a couple in my tbr stacks too. Thanks for visiting my blog and the well wishes for my family. It means a lot!
ReplyDeleteI feel like it doesn't matter how many books I read, my tbr pile/list grows exponentially! I really need to go away and sit on a beach doing nothing but reading to make a dent! Hope you are successful with your this week!
ReplyDeleteMy It's Monday post can be found here.
Good luck with the tbr dent! :) I need to do that too :)
ReplyDeleteThis week I am tackling Mark Childress' newest release Georgia Bottoms. It sounds hilarious and naughty and so much fun! Watch for a review towards the end of the week on the blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming by Southern Somedays. I think book friends are Kindred Spirits! Oh, and I will be attending a luncheon soon where Ann Ross will be guest of honor so it should be fun to meet her and see if she is anything like Miss Julia herself! (((hugs)))
Love the Miss Julia series.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are able to make a dent in the TBR pile and then help all of us by telling u how you did it! lol

The Scarlet Kimono looks like a wonderful read! I hope you do better than I did with my TBR shelves ... as soon as I started to see a good deal of progress, I couldn't resist the urge to buy and swap more, so now ... well, they're even higher than before! Enjoy your reading week!
ReplyDeleteI saw this meme post first on your blog and now have joined in! Glad I found it. I think this is a meme I can keep up with lol!
ReplyDeleteHI Laurel-Rain,

Hi Lori
I am feeling the pressure of mentioning that I am trying to dent my TBR list. What have I done? LOL
HI Julie

Hi Charlie,
this is a great meme. It is one I have become a regular on because it starts the week with a log of books read and to read.
carol
Looks like you've got a fantastic week of reading with maybe some room for more reads once you finish up. Sounds fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous reading week and thanks so much for stopping by earlier!
Decided to have a bit of a cull. Heading for physio on my neck today so taking a few (4 to be precise) books to the hospital volunteer service.
