Last week
I didn't get any books finished last week. When I am enjoying a book it can sometimes take a little longer to read as I tend to only pick up those reads when I can really get some quality time to read.
In my postbox
I am waiting on an online purchase of Wish you were here by Phillipa Ashley.
This is due to be released in the US in June 2011. I am hoping to have a guest author spotlight in May with Phillipa.
What is next?
Perhaps Tomorrow by Jean Fullerton
and I have one or two recent books calling me from the TBR shelves.
What does your reading week look like?

I totally sympathize with reading pace. Sometimes it takes me 1-2 weeks to read a long book (350 pages & up). My last book read was 529 pages & took 2 weeks. Ugh :P Best of luck with your reading this week. BTW, I posted my Monday early if you want a sneak preview ;)
ReplyDeleteMy reading this week is sadly limited to proofreading my own work. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteHope you are able to get some good, quality reading time in! Have a wonderful week....
ReplyDeleteHi Teacher/learner
ReplyDeletegood to see you. There are some books that just need to be savoured and take that bit longer.
Hi Samantha,
It has to be done I suppose. Good luck with the proofreading.
Hi Julie
I might just have to give something else up this week....do ya think anyone needs their clothes ironed here this week ? :)
carol
Sounds like an interesting book you are reading there. :)
ReplyDeleteHere's what I'm reading
I hope my reading week is better than last week but its hard to tell... when I think I am going to read - I don't... I watch tv. GAH! :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week.
Hi Kristen
ReplyDeletegood to see you. I am loving this new book.
Hi Sheila,
The tv can be a distraction here too.
I do like it when my partner has control of the tv as my reading can take over. Especially good when he is watching the football :)

I have been lingering over Freedom for a couple of weeks, now, only reading at night...or like yesterday, I read it off and on all day. But it's going to take awhile.
ReplyDeletePerhaps Tomorrow caught my eye.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
I've almost finished The Winter Ghosts by Kate Mosse, and it's terrific!
ReplyDeleteVery good point about how to really enjoy a book. Read and savor, just the way reading should be.
ReplyDeleteI've hear good things about India Black...looking forward to reading your thoughts on it.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week and thanks for stopping by my blog!
Like yourself I haven't managed to read the book I started last week - a reading group read it's not exactly my cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteI am reading Bitter Chocolate by Lesley Lokko bit of a tome but interestingly good.
ReplyDeleteThe cover for India Black is lovely. Happy reading & thanks for stopping by my blog :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a thick book but time well spent.

I finished more K to 3 books for my project, some short stories and at last, Kraken. Come see what I'm reading now.
ReplyDeleteHi there, just popping by to thank you for your kind comment on my blog. As you know I've just finished reading 'The Tapestry of Love' by Rosy Thornton and am now reading the latest Val McDermid 'Trick of the Dark' - I'll be back to visit you again:)
ReplyDeleteHi Laurel-Rain,
ReplyDeleteI have an author spotlight coming up with Jean Fullerton (Perhaps Tomorrow) on 18th March.
HI Deborah,
That is a big read. enjoy.
HI Bookquoter
good to see you. Yes, I agree.
HI Kristin,
it is a good read
HI Tracy,
One thing that puts me off a book club is having to read something I really would choose not to.
