Saturday Snapshot

It's a sunny morning here in East Anglia.  Do hope it stays that way as my friend Carol is getting married today.

Looking forward to seeing her tonight at the reception.

I am joining Alyce for Snapshot Saturday here

We revamped the garden this year and I was in a hurry to get it finished by the first weekend in June for my partner's 40th Birthday get together.

My flower tubs looked lovely for the event.......
June

But.......look at this one now!

Six weeks later!

Trailing Lobelia, trailing fushia, standard fushia and petunias.

  2. Not me Margaret! :)
My dad is a gardener so he makes my lovely flower displays and I just water and keep them alive :)

  3. Perfect timing on the flowers. I can't seem to keep blooms throughout the summer. They're usually all gone by this time of year.

  4. Oh, I do wish I had a green thumb! I love flowers, plants, etc., and once upon a time did try to have some. Alas, a failed experiment....

Thanks for sharing, and I'm glad you have a lovely day for the wedding.

  6. We had deer galore at our old house so I was limited on what I could plant. Now that we have moved I can't wait to have colorful flowers like yours! Have fun at the wedding!

  9. I love when people combine plants in pots like that but I've never been successful at making them look good.

  12. Wow, that's awesome! I wish my flowers were doing that well this year. I haven't been able to weed as I ought and they are getting choked out.

  13. Those are like my pots. I do container gardening. I've been a little slow or afraid to put different flowers in one pot. Yours are very pretty. Now I will try.

  16. Thank you for your lovely comments. I am getting around to all your SS photos.

I am sitting here at 5am with back spasms, silly me, lifting in the week and now suffering for it!
